Now The Govt In KPK want to interact with the people of the province to eliminate corruption, injustice , inequality and anti social elements. The complaints of the people of the Province was never been heard seriously and never been acted on due to which the people have also stop putting their valuable suggestion and stop complaining about the wrong doing of the people in power. We have established this cell in order to reach you and solve your problems with your help and support. Therefore Please don’t hesitate to register a complaint against anyone in any departments under our control and we assure you that if the complaint is genuine, not biased and correct we will act and we will provide the justice to the complainants. May Allah Help us to achieve the confidence of the people and deliver according to the expectation of the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

I would like to appreciate ST&IT for its initiatives being taken towards transformation of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa economy from resource based to knowledge based. As everyone knows about the changing scenario of global economy i.e. increased dependency on knowledge creation. This would require an adopting of integrated approach to ensure the shift to the knowledge-based economy with ST&IT as the torch bearer. The mission of ST&IT spells out the building of knowledge society as an important milestone in reaching the destination. The initiatives taken by ST&IT are very essential to the achievement of the goal of knowledge-based economy. This would surely convert the population of the province to human resource. The Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will provide all possible support to Directorate of Science & Technology (ST&IT) in its endeavors that respond to the needs of the people and achieving the dream of the government of self-sufficiency in every aspect of life.As it is rightly said that while the last century was about 'haves and have not' the current century is about connected and non-connected.

Countries that have invested heavily in Science & Technology have Succeededin achieving rapid and sustained economic growth. In this era of globalization and computation, Pakistan needs to acquire scientific and technological (S&T) capabilities to maintain a comparative edge in the global market. The new world order requires us to prepare our new generations to face global challenges, this involves a substantially different type of education to be imparted, focusing not only on the mastery of the subject matter but also on the development of complementary skills, such as ability to think critically and innovatively, communicate effectively, and to successfully adapt to changes. While investing in high-level S&T, it is equally important to invest in human resource development to in achieving rapid economic growth. We cannot expect to become technologically self-reliant unless we have necessary strength in both basic and applied sciences. It has been shown time and again that the discoveries in basic sciences of today become the basis of major commercial products of tomorrow and we aim to strengthen the basic sciences by establishing linkage with applied sciences such as agriculture sciences engineering science material sciences, biotechnology pharmacy etc. I appreciate DoST for its initiatives to help policymakers and sector specialists in making quicker and better decisions that facilitates knowledge creation, use, dissemination and protection by providing these groups with a place to share experiences, discuss vital issues and find useful background material.

Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa is undergoing a digital transformation, with rapidly expanding mobile and internet connections. This has the potential to significantly drive growth, expand job opportunities, and improve service delivery. Supporting this digital transformation is Digital KP, a provincial strategy focused on supporting regulations, institutions and capabilities. The strategy is organized around four pillars: Digital Access, Digital Governance, Digital Economy and Digital Skills.

The Science & Technology and Information Technology Department, established on October 2, 2002, of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa serves as the central policymaking and coordinating body for science, technology, and ICT. It drives innovation, digital transformation, and socioeconomic development through strategic direction and legislative support.

The Directorate General of Science and Technology (DoST), established in 2006, marked KP as the first province in Pakistan with a dedicated S&T department, reflecting a strong commitment to leveraging science and technology for sustainable development and public welfare.

KPITB, an autonomous body formed in 2011, promotes IT, digital services, and tech education in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. It drives digital growth, supports innovation, and advances the province’s socioeconomic development through technology.
