Mr.Ali Amin Gandapur

Chief Minister Khyber Pukhtunkhwa

Over the past two centuries, many nations have evolved their governance systems in line with their socio-economic realities. Unfortunately, our country has struggled to follow a consistent, people-centric evolutionary path. Historically, governance decisions were made without meaningful public consultation, and citizens’ voices were often overlooked. In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the current government is committed to reversing this trend by engaging directly with the people to eradicate corruption, injustice, inequality, and anti-social practices. Public grievances have long been ignored, leading to disillusionment and silence from those seeking accountability. To address this, a dedicated complaint cell has been established to listen to and resolve citizens’ concerns. We encourage you to lodge complaints regarding any misconduct within departments under our jurisdiction. Genuine and unbiased complaints will be thoroughly investigated, and justice will be ensured. With your support and trust, and by the grace of Allah, we aim to rebuild confidence in public institutions and serve the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa with integrity and transparency.

To compete globally, Pakistan must invest in both scientific research and human capital. A modern education system emphasizing critical thinking and innovation is essential. Strengthening basic sciences and linking them with applied fields like biotechnology and engineering will drive long-term economic growth. DoST’s initiatives are appreciated for supporting evidence-based policymaking and knowledge sharing.Countries grow by investing in science and technology—and so must Pakistan. We need a new kind of education that prepares youth not just to learn but to innovate and adapt. By bridging basic and applied sciences, and through support from institutions like DoST, we can build a self-reliant, knowledge-based economy. Sustainable economic growth depends on scientific innovation and skilled human resources. Pakistan must strengthen basic sciences, align them with applied fields, and reform education to meet future global challenges. We appreciate DoST’s role in enabling better, faster decisions through knowledge exchange and collaboration. Scientific investment + skilled workforce = sustainable growth. Reforming education and linking basic to applied sciences is key. DoST’s support in fostering innovation and informed policymaking is commendable.
