Historic Achievement for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa at the Asian Pacific Information & Communication Technology Alliance (APICTA) Awards 2025!

At the Asian Pacific ICT Alliance Awards 2025, only two finalist entries were selected from Pakistan — and Alhamdulillah, both belonged solely to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

In this competition held in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, participants from 17 countries took part, where KP achieved remarkable distinction.

DASTAK App Secures First Position

The DASTAK app won the Winner Award in the Government & Citizen Services category.

The jury declared DASTAK a global-standard model based on the following features:

• Citizen convenience
• Adoption of modern technology and AI
• Transparency
• Effective and timely service delivery

Tourism Information Management System (TMIS) Recognized Globally

The Tourism Information Management System (TMIS) also received international appreciation.

TMIS emerged as a finalist, and judges praised its advanced tourism management capabilities. Several countries also expressed interest in adopting this technology.

These achievements prove that under Imran Khan’s vision, digital governance, modern technology, and public service models in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are not only succeeding but also gaining international recognition.

The fact that both of Pakistan’s selected entries came from KP shows that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is leading the future of Digital Pakistan.
